to all of you who helped us this year in the 2004 AVON Walk for Breast Cancer.
Our team raised $10,000,
and together over 2,200 walkers raised over $5.2 million. We're a few steps
closer to a cure.
(Incidentally, each of us took about 52,812 steps on this walk of nearly
30 miles!)

Day 1:
We got up before dawn to arrive at 6am for breakfast and...
...the opening ceremony.
Each of us walked for many people affected, but in particular:
Jackie walked in honor of her mom, Joan Bailey.
Kirstin walked for Ann Tebbe, and
Barbara walked for her friend's sister, Susie.
Day 1 began with an earling morning walk up Capitol Hill.
